Volleyball FAQ

VOLLEYBALL FAQ:

IS THERE A REGISTRATION FEE TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL?
Yes, the fee is $55 plus the online registration fee. All players need to be registered and paid through the website. This does not include the uniform cost. Uniform decisions will be left up to coaches.

WHAT EQUIPMENT IS NEEDED TO PLAY?
The only equipment needed is tennis shoes. Knee pads and volleyball shoes are not required. It would be helpful to the coaches if each player had a volleyball that they could bring to practice.

WHAT DAYS AND TIMES WILL PRACTICES BE ON?
Practice days and times will be determined by the coach. Times could be 5:45-7:30, 7:30-9:15 Tuesday thru Friday. Games will always be on Monday evenings at FOHS. 6th and 7th grade will have a tournament on 5/10.

WHEN WILL I BE HEARING FROM A COACH?
After 3/1

CAN MY PLAYER PLAY UP OR DOWN A GRADE?
No, players must play within their same grade level. YOUR PLAYER MUST BE REGISTERED WITHIN THEIR GRADE LEVEL

WHEN I REGISTER MY ATHLETE, THERE ARE MULTIPLE GRADE OPTIONS. WHICH ONE DO I PICK?
You will only select your athletes CURRENT grade. If for some reason that is not an option at registration, please go ahead and register and email [email protected] with the correct grade level so it may be fixed.

DO COACHES GET PAID TO COACH?
No, all coaches are volunteers.
